I would love to hear about your experiences if you faced addiction or any opinions, suggestions, or stories you like to share. Let’s support one another on this journey.

If the mindset for gambling is wrong from the start, then gambling will always be addictive, and make people look for reasons in themselves and others. Why is it difficult to stop gambling? Because the brain is already haunted by the "sudden wealth" that will happen or commonly called easy money. So people who find it difficult to stop gambling because they are lazy and have no other motivation. Therefore, the mindset that must be had before gambling, it is easier to prevent gambling addiction than to get out of addiction.

Even though you have already fallen into gambling addiction, to get out of the addiction must of course be based on self-awareness and intention. If this already exists, the next step to get out of gambling addiction is to get closer to God and know how to be grateful for this life because this is an important point to be able to get out of gambling addiction. If done consistently, then slowly you can get out of addiction. This is not a personal experience, but this is what I tell the experience of a close friend who has now succeeded in getting out of gambling addiction. This friend of mine was one of the most addicted among my other friends, he even dared to steal his own parents' money so he could gamble, but he quickly changed. The change happened when he started to get closer to God.
