A persons choice on whether or not to gamble is theirs and theirs alone, the poor should not go into gambling as a means to make it big, such an obsession can be blinding, leading to the person loosing everything thing they have.

I agree with you on this; going into gaming without the idea of getting out rich can only lead to one thing, which is losing everything you have to gambling while chasing that big win.

A person should only gamble if they are financially stable, and can afford to loose the money, it a risk and there are thrills that come with risks, it should never be your final resort for money.

Anyone can gamble as long as they can afford that money, and it doesn't really mean they should be financially stable before they can gamble any amount, which can be spare for things that don't really matter, like your wants; it can also be spare for gambling. The amount to be spent should be based on the person's worth.

when you say the government should control the amount a person spends on gambling, is that like their daily spending on gambling or what they should spend in their lifetime?? Because if it's daily, people will still go broke over it.

If such is to be considered, the amount to be spent on gambling on a daily basis won't be the same for everyone; it will be decided based on how much the person earns on a monthly basis or whichever way their earnings come, and it shouldn't be above 1-5% of their total earnings at the end of every month.

The issue should be that if a person cannot control how much they spend on gambling, then they should not gamble at all.
I totally agree with this…
