When we work for other people or companies then there are written and unwritten rules that we should obey for the good of us and also the place we work, although maybe gambling is our right and privacy but at least we don't do it at work,...
The logic here is pretty simple because, although privacy in gambling is generally respected but using that privacy to gamble during working hours isn’t right, because being an employee, we’re paid to focus on work-related tasks, not personal activities like gambling.
Honestly, even if a company doesn’t have explicit rules against gambling at work, it should still be treated as an unwritten rule. Being pro, we inherently know what’s ethical and what crosses the line. It’s about understanding the moral responsibility to use work hours for their intended purpose, not for personal indulgence.
