Regardless, this is a tough setback for Bayern Munich since getting kicked out of the DFB Pokal so early is always painful. Now Bayer Leverkusen has literally cracked the jackpot as they have now kicked out the fiercest competitor and went to the next round themselves. It couldn't have been any better for Leverkusen and now I think they are the biggest favorites to win this title.
Well, or maybe Bayern Munich is not concerned with the DFB Pokal and chooses not to be optimal in the league. But whatever, indeed, Leverksuen's chances are getting bigger. Only, there are still Stuttgart and also Leipzig as their toughest competitors in the DFB Pokal.
