I feel that Girona did not do so well in the UCL this season of we look at how strong they were in the La Liga last season. I had expected them to be at the same level as Aston Villa who have been doing very well bith in the Champions league and the league as well but Girona is neither doing well in the champions league nor the La Liga. Assuming they were able to qualify for next round, they would have raised more funds to bring in some new faces to the club next season.
Foe a not so regular UCL appearance, I want to think Girona is even trying even if this season hasn't been that smooth for them but we shouldn't be expecting much as I see them as a team that's still at that stage of gathering experience when the make appearance in the UCL until maybe some time in the future they get pass this point but for now I see it like it's the stage which they are at. It will be better for them if they see it that they get to gather experiences off the UCL while they put in the effort in the bundesliga where they can build some more chances at the title race.
