I don't even expect good performance from Girona in this ongoing Champions League because of the level of their players. All their players are still average with less experience in the Champions League. So, I don't expect them to even qualify for the next round. With their next three matches, it’s really clear they will not qualify because they will find it difficult to win against the three teams you mentioned Arsenal, Liverpool, and AC Milan. At best, they might manage a draw against one of these teams based on their current form. These three teams are seriously in good form. But let's see, as football is full of surprises. Maybe they’ll get lucky and win one or two matches, but I’m not entirely sure it will happen.
Seriously Girona had a fantastic season last season but just like you I didn’t expect them to actually do anything spectacular this season because after their fairy tale season last season most of the players moved away from the club in the summer and that has put the club in bad shape, players like Savinho and Artem Dovbyk were instrumental for the club last season and they will definitely have had an impact if they had stayed beyond last season but to me it was a good decision to go to a much bigger club when they want you.
Right now Girona qualification is all but done to me too because this three matches are matches against clubs that will want to take all three points home in fact except Liverpool who are comfortable the remaining Arsenal and Milan need this point to finish at a better position.
