India got a strong start today, but then wasted it as Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana failed to properly backup the opening bowlers (Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj). In particular, Rana was extremely wayward and expensive. Australians look quite comfortable out there after the initial wobble, when Nathan McSweeney and Steven Smith got out in quick succession. Marnus Labuschagne look comfortable out there. He has really dug in, and from the other end Travis Head is becoming more aggressive.
Usman Khawaja was gone in the start of the Australian innings and when he was out I was completely worried for Australia because as in the last match, Indian bowlers smashed to Australian batsmen. Hence, the fear was coming but nope because after this wicket, Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne played really a long innings that caused Australia to get into a good position in the game and at the same time lead the game now. I was thinking that Steven Smith might be played amazing innings but he lost his wicket in the 2 runs but now Travis Head is batting on 50+. Let's see what will he can do for the Aussies.
