I've never really thought about this issue of mentorship to be an important thing in the journey of success, I do read books and read the part where the author talk about their mentors, and I do listen to interviews of successful people and they hear the part they always will make mention of someone they are looking up to, which I suspose is their mentor, but right here, I never thought about this thing to be that important..
I am not successful yet, but by the grace of God, I am not hungry, I am going well for myself without a mentor, I learnt all I know in crypto today without any one teaching me in person, and if actually God be God, I will achieve greater and super success without a mentor.
Being successful is not about having a mentor, it's about wisdom and understanding, knowing and doing what is right and at the right time.
I do have people I am teaching out crypto from time to time, but I've never seen myself as their mentor, and I don't want them to see me as one, we are just friends and friends help each other.
The success achieved is a series of what you hear, what you see and what you do. I mean each factor has its own portion that demands someone to success. Believe it or not, success cannot be achieved by relying only on yourself, there is an environment, people closest to you and loved ones who provide encouragement, both in the form of material and non-material, the nature of which cannot be seen. Aren't we social beings? we cannot stand alone and will depend on each other. This means that the success achieved is only the meeting point of a series of paths that you have passed. As for belief, God sends all these elements into our lives.
