Keeping yourself busy is one of the best ways for an addict to distract themselves from gambling. They can find a hobby that they enjoy, or do work, or do other activities that keep their attention away from gambling. Because the problem that gamblers often face is that the urge to gamble arises when they are not doing anything - although this is quite difficult to do because not everyone has the same ability to restrain themselves, but if this is practiced continuously then over time an addict will be able to control their addiction to gambling.
Anyone who is lost over gambling by prioritizing gambling as a major means of generating income is likely to become gambling addicted where at every point in time you loss the next thing that will comes to your mind is chasing your losses which consist of gambling under pressure, spending more time energy and resources in to it, and when this happens it is very important we seek for help because situations like that requires given attention before it gets worst, if only a gambling addict will change his or her orientation that gambling is not guaranteed hence it doesn't worth taken too serious, that way he or she will recover faster alongside with other remedies.

We ought to be smart and know what we are doing so that we don't have to end up with gambling addiction. Addiction has been the problem for many gamblers and for that sometimes we don't need to put all blame on them because it is conditions that are passing through that could have made them to keep gambling for a better days when they will be making consistent profits.
