People who said Real Madrid is better than Atalanta because Real Madrid have a good history in Champions League and domestic league, they have more money, they have star players and their popularity is really huge.
This completely different to Atalanta who don't have any good history in international league and domestic league, not a rich team, less star players and they're not popular.
But, if we judge from the current performance, Atalanta is better than Real Madrid.
If Atalanta is 95 from 100, Real Madrid is still 80 from 100.
Football is far from a team being bigger or has more quality players and finance than the other because what we are practically looking at now is based on a team current performance and not about history or records they have kept in the past. Real Madrid is a big team and we all know that but is answering a big team going to play the match for them? As a matter of fact, Madrid is still inconsistent despite they haven't lost too many matches. Atalanta's team is full of life and energy and the players has the capacity to discharge their duties perfectly so they are incomparable with Real Madrid for now and am seeing a picture of Madrid not advancing further in the Champions league because the team lacks a lot of things added with the injury crisis they are faced with. Atalanta has a better advantage over Real Madrid but if things don't go in their favor then they can end in a draw.
