I didn't expect Borussia Dortmund to perform as well as they are now in the Champions League, and it even looks very different to what they've shown in the Bundesliga. Regardless of whether it's because of the opponent or not, it's a bit of a surprise to me. I don't mean to underestimate them, because we often see teams that can be very different in terms of performance in 2 different competitions. But what I mean is when we compare them to their rivals, Bayern Munich, in the Champions League they can show something better.
They are performing really well in the Champions League, they are not playing that well in their own league but their performance in the Champions League is quite good. They will face Barcelona in the next match, we will probably watch one of the best matches of the year.
They may not have much chance against Barcelona, I think they will fall back in the rankings after that match. The Champions League is going very exciting this year
Another advantage is that they will play as hosts which will be a good thing for Borussia Dortmund. But the problem lies in the opponent, yes Barcelona will not be that easy to beat even though they play as away team status.
