I have a new perspective towards what it means to keep things private. I am thinking that keeping things private does not always mean keeping things to yourself. Before you criticize, I know that to have someone as trusted as that is rare and almost impossible, but they still exist, and sometimes you can find that person in your spouse. If you can share important details like passwords of bank account or safe, or grant them access to important documents, should we not also be able to trust these people with access to our bitcoin wallet?

I have my ways of sharing my things with people, not juts with friends, including my family. They know that I do crypto aside from my job but nobody knows what I have in figures in crypto and that has save me from unnecessary billings from, telling people that you own a Bitcoin can even result into giving you their problems and lending money they wouldn't pay back later, it's better you don't tell people that you own a Bitcoin or sharing your sensitive things with them.

However, if you trust your family enough perhaps your dad or your mum, it's your decision to make because I'm not close to them like you do and can't measure the trust you have in them. My own mum can safely help me keep my seed phrase but I didn't give her not because I have any doubt, she do have different visitors that can compromise things in her own house, so you see why it's good to keep things by your self alone.
