This season has been a great season for Chelsea. So far, so good; they have created a wonderful foundation by having great performances this season. A lot of people were surprised by seeing Chelsea being able to perform well and also maintain their consistency by having so many goals this season. With the way Chelsea ended last season with poor performances, I was not expecting that they could do well this season.
But indeed, with their much effort, together with the work of their coach, they make this season to be their great one, which, if they can keep their performances so strong and continue in that way, they will not have many challenges this season.
Chelsea's performance this season has been impressive, and I like to attribute it to some factors. Firstly, key players like Nicolas Jackson, Moises Caicedo, and Marc Cucurella have been in their best form. Also, Dejan has been trying hard in his midfield attacking role. Their collective effort is showing good result.
Then, a coach's relationship with the team can either motivate or hinder their performance. Chelsea's coach has clearly established a positive connection with the players, which is something Manchester United is still working on with their new coach, Amorin.
When a team is familiar with their coach's tactics and patterns, they tend to perform better. Chelsea's players seem to be in sync with their coach's strategy, which has contributed to their success.
Another factor I feel is driving Chelsea's performance is the desire to prove themselves after a disappointing previous season. The team has faced ridicule and mockery from fans of other teams. I think the negative criticism has fueled Chelsea's determination to outdo themselves and avoid further ridicule.
