To be honest at the beginning of the season I was one of those who doubted Chelsea, but now I have to admit that Chelsea are on a different level both in terms of player quality and performance on the field. Enzo Maresca is the right person and must be maintained, because he is the only consistent coach after Arne Slot. Several coaches such as Arteta and Pep Guardiola are indeed experiencing problems with inconsistency. So Chelsea chances of entering are a reflection for Liverpool to remain vigilant.
That's looking more and more likely at this point, I agree with that. I agree that we are seeing a Chelsea that is totally different. I was one of those who mocked them about having 40+ players at the start of the season, and to be fair not like they are playing all of them, but it was a funny bit. Looking now, it's clear that they made some good moves and they are doing fine. I feel like they found what was wrong with their ways and fixed it and now doing better.
Obviously, we need to remember that we are seeing some improvements thanks to other teams doing badly as well, it's clear that we are seeing City and Arsenal not doing that great and this is resulting with them not looking that great as well. This is the most important part and I believe that helped Chelsea be what they are today. If Chelsea still played like this, but City and Arsenal played like last year, the best Chelsea could hope for would have been a fourth place, so that's important.
