In the current context, no signature campaign or any other type of marketing is out of the question. Moreover, even now, it is unlikely that any of the managers will dare to promote this project.
Imho, if the freebitcoin team doesn't plan to completely abandon the project, they should first fix all the issues and regain the trust of the community. Only after that, they can launch a signature campaign.
It still wonders me what is going on as they are around 11 years, have grown massively and there were never a lot of issues. Wetsuit didn't really respond a lot in this forum but TheQuin was pretty responsive and answered almost all questions. I hope they can turn it around. They are still paying which is one of the most important things but they will need to come up with some plans to restore the trust in them.
