Chelsea already got good foundation by their previous coach, Pochettino, but he failed to find an agreement with the club owner for development plan. They separated with a contract termination and Enzo Maresca was hired in massive doubt. Joining a big club like Chelsea with doubt but Maresca proved that he is a good choice for them at least so far and with many young players in the club, who also shown their growth in the last two seasons, I see bright future for Maresca, these players and Chelsea in general.
This season has been a great season for Chelsea. So far, so good; they have created a wonderful foundation by having great performances this season. A lot of people were surprised by seeing Chelsea being able to perform well and also maintain their consistency by having so many goals this season. With the way Chelsea ended last season with poor performances, I was not expecting that they could do well this season.
But indeed, with their much effort, together with the work of their coach, they make this season to be their great one, which, if they can keep their performances so strong and continue in that way, they will not have many challenges this season.
Nobody believed Chelsea could perform well this season in the Premier League because of the way they have struggled in the past Premier League seasons, but with the help of their new head coach, Chelsea's performance has changed dramatically this season, and they are now Premier League title contenders. With the comeback win Chelsea had against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, they now occupy the second spot of the Premier League table, and they are 4 points behind Liverpool, who are in the first position of the Premier League title, and Liverpool have one game at hand. If Chelsea can maintain this consistency, they can achieve a lot of success this season in the Premier League.
