The performance of PSG is not as bad as a lot of people portray it to be, they are top of the table, winning 10 out of 14 games and have only drawn 4 which for me is a good run for the French champions and it seems to me that they might still retain their title since no other side seems to be putting any pressure on them. The only issue PSG are having this season is their poor run in the champions league where they've had to struggle much this season and seem not to be able to make it to the next round.
You are correct. PSG drew ten games and lost just two last season, so they are still on track. They have not lost any game this season and just drew four games. We cannot assume that no French club is pressurizing PSG because Olympique de Marseille and Monaco are closely trialing them. Both teams are five points below the reigning Ligue One champions. I would not push aside these teams because they also have good coaches and quality players. Roberto De Zerbi is not doing a bad job in Marseille and I would not be surprised if they win the Ligue Cup. From the current situation, PSG might not make it out of the Group stage because they are underperforming in the UCL.
I don't think PSG has any separate plans for the French league so far. They have always known that they are one of the strongest teams in the French league and that they will be champions of the local league whether they plan or not. PSG has always been seen planning for the Champions League and they have tried a lot and spent a lot of money just to win the Champions League trophy but so far they have not been able to win the Champions League trophy.
Although the club is now realizing that the way they spent the money was the wrong way to go because they only spent the money instead of hiring a quality manager for their club. If the manager who is in charge of their club now had such a manager and if that manager had planned and brought players into the team then PSG could have won at least one UCL title by now.
