Manchester United and Manchester City are both in a slump right now so I don't think there is one that has the advantage in this weekend's Manchester derby, in fact I see the overall strength of both teams and I think Manchester City is still stronger than Manchester United especially since the match will be played at the Etihad Stadium which will certainly make it much more difficult for Manchester United with their new coach.
Definitely one will be slightly favored than one and it is likely to be the home team so I think Manchester City is the favorite in this match all all the set backs they are facing recently. They sit ahead of Manchester United in the table and still look like a team that can triumph in this match. If Manchester United should lose it would be a huge disappointment to the club and fans again and it will be as if there is no need to change their coach.

Ruben Amorim must avoid the talk that Erik Ten Hag often does about this promise, that and all sorts of things. Because usually it will be much worse if you can't meet expectations. Amorim must focus on working and talk less. Reflecting on other teams whose coaches are rarely in the spotlight and are able to perform optimally. Chelsea under Enzo Maresca focuses on working hard, building the team and not making small talk to meet the media chatter.
You’re right, making such statements will lift high the hopes of everyone and when you don’t meet the expectations it is easier to criticize you just like it happened with Ten Hag. Amorim should avoid talking this way and claiming to bring back the team to glory days because he is putting a huge burden on himself he should learn from Chelsea’s coach about not making promises despite being second place he still says they are not in the title race. He just doesn’t want Pepe to expect much so they don’t get disappointed when it doesn’t work out.
