I wasn't here then, nor were most of the members active today, but it seems to me that RV sees the culprits in everyone who didn't think like him or doesn't think the same today.
Roger Ver was a free market advocate for what suited him. He pushed the big blocks in the blocksize wars saying that it was up to the market to freely decide between his fork, shitcoin cash, and others. When the market didn't agree with him it didn't sit well with him and he fooled people into believing they were buying real bitcoin when he was foisting his shitcoin cash garbage on them, which compared to real bitcoin has gone to almost 0.
