In fact, it would be the right decision, another thing is that it is simply impossible for financial reasons. United (like probably any other club) cannot afford to change the team entirely when changing the coach. Therefore, United are expecting targeted changes that will gradually lead to the team that Amorim wants. As for selling/renting players, I don't think there are many options. Who needs Rashford with his salary? PSG were after him before Ten Hag.

Amorim needs a serious strategy to drive the club forward. What Manchester united is facing now is multidimensional, for instance, Manchester United has an issue with their squad composition. While there's an overload of attacking players, there's equally an issue with a limited defensive which was an issue underlayed by the past administration of Eric Ten Hag, now Amorim needs to fix that in the midst of a limited resources available to him. They must also work on their recruitment process and strategy which is something I believe Amorim have to address in the interim.

Amorim's tenure is working on a formation that'll strengthen the team's forward line. And the player he's eyeing to do that job is Gyokeres. But the problem is that PSG seem to have an eye on the player. He has scored 22 goals in 18 matches, including a hat trick against man City on November 5. His performance can be duplicated in Man U to help lift up the club's position in the EPL.

It's a fight against the two then although the only reason why I feel Manchester united would be having an upper hand in the race would be because of the influence of the present coach as he was the former coach of the striker and would have more leverage in convincing him to come play and help united in their quest to refurbish the old glory of the Manchester united we know.
Manchester United was once a very popular team in the English Premier League and the position of this team in the Premier League was very good, but due to the selection of the wrong manager, Manchester United performed very badly for a few seasons. Ever since the new manager took charge of Manchester United, fans have seen renewed hope for Manchester United. Many are saying that Manchester United will definitely return to their former glory under this manager. As they could not change their positions much despite relying on multiple managers. But since the current manager was given charge of Manchester United, the current manager has improved Manchester United well. So if he has a long-term plan and if he can bring quality players to the club according to his plan, then maybe Manchester United can get back to what it was before.
It may take a new coach a long time to build up or strengthen a weak team. Similarly, it will take time for their new coach to transform Manchester United from a weak team to a strong one. Manchester United was once a very popular and powerful club in the English Premier League, even the coach of that club was very skilled at that time. As Manchester United now has a new manager in charge of the team, let's see how well Manchester United can perform in the December 15 Premier League match between Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Premier League match will be held at Manchester City's ground on December 15. And the chances of two teams winning this match are according to Google.
