Firstly Op it seems like you are mixing up the concept of both trading and hodling. Secondly the fact is that the more you listen to bitcoin critics and haters, the less drive you may likely have to invest in bitcoin especially if you don't have any bitcoin investments beforehand to start with. As a bitcoin HODLer you don't need to be concerned much about charts and little price shifts because they tend to be more of a fuel for FOMO than an information to you like a bitcoin trader would have it on the other hand.

No matter how good or how bad bitcoin performs ,we will always have critics and one reason I don't fancy listening to their discussions is than some of them are HODLERs in secret but publicly out to cause FOMO and mislead the uninformed public.
