No doubt I believe HD wallets are better (especially the ability to generate addresses with only a public key).
Addresses generated like these are watching only.
How do I achieve the same sense of 'security' with an HD wallet. It doesn't seem it's that simple any more. Sure, I can backup the data itself, but I want the assurance of a text based backup.
With a seedphrase you can have the exact same text based backup with your HD wallets. The seedphrase represents your master public key and accesses all other private and public keys under it. You do not have any compromise with n security.
