Any team wants such advantage because when it is over, they will not get the opportunity to win them easily, and statistically, we have seen how Manchester City is winning Manchester United in the Premier League, the last Manchester United win against Manchester City was in their last FA Cup final, and after that, Manchester City has won them again.
However, Manchester United can have the opportunity of this poor form of Manchester City to win them, but City playing at home can be very difficult to defeat by Manchester United; therefore, if Man United can get a draw, it will be a good result for them.
Every team will definitely want to play Manchester city at the moment but to me this is a very bad time for Manchester United to play them even though everything looks like they have a chance. Manchester United themselves are playing poorly under their new manager because of the new manager tactics. Many people think they will be performing better maybe because of a manager bounce or luck but that is not the point they are actually facing reality and proving that the problem is not the manager but rather players themselves.
This Manchester derby looks like last season meeting between Chelsea and Manchester United when both teams where having difficult time. For me this is the perfect time for Manchester United to actually get back on city for all those games they have beating them harshly and also to stay in the race for a European place finish. As for city anything aside a win will be the end to their tittle pursuit and put their top four hopes imbalance.
