Taxation is theft. Regardless of Roger's attitude towards Bitcoin, he is being hunted down by a government who wants to steal his wealth. My support goes out to him.
The government is currently hunting for "fat wallets", who can be easily picked off one by one. It will figure out how to tax everyone else (bitcoin owners) - the same fate awaits them. Those whales who have been keeping a low profile all this time have done the right thing and it will not be so easy to shake taxes out of them. And Ver is now paying for his publicity. Despite all the ambiguity of this person, Ver was still to some extent a popularizer of bitcoin.
