I'm surprised to hear this too, why don't he go for players that he has already worked with at sporting to help strengthen the team at Manchester United. Going for players that he hasn't coached before can be challenging for him as he'll have to train them again which he doesn't have the time since he needs to do something fast about Manchester United concerning the way that they're performing. Ruben Amorim is going to be facing Pepe Guardiola again when Manchester United plays Manchester city and we're going to witness a revenge from Pep Guardiola.
