A very bad start for Liverpool as they are one goal down and with a red card. It will take a miracle for Liverpool to turn this match around with ten men. Many people were of the opinion that Fulham will be a difficult opponent for Liverpool and it seems that is happening and even worst than expected. Fulham seems to be very prepared for the big teams because last week the scored Arsenal first and were about winning the match before the Gunners were able to turn the make the goals even and ended what would have been a disastrous day to a draw. I really feel sorry for Liverpool because even if they will still be at the top, the gap would be high reduced after tonight.
It's unfortunate that one of the factors that affects a team's performance in a match has already happened to Liverpool in a very early time of the first half and all they need now is miracle to overturn the outcome of the game otherwise Liverpool could be heading to another Anfield defeat just like they suffered against Nottingham Forest and lost. Robertson's red card in the 17th minute of play has kept Liverpool in a state of pressure now because no matter how strong a team is, red card is a very bad incident that can occur to a team because the position of the player that is being sent off will be difficult for the teammates to cover up, thereby it will lead to a leakage within that position and the opponent will always take advantage of it to shine. Though, aside the red card Liverpool got, Fulham was already leading before the red card came which means that Fulham is also well prepared in this game against Liverpool and am just afraid that the end may likely not be in favor of Liverpool.
