Yes, I'm following the third test match of England and New Zealand. in first day of test match New Zealand played well in first day scored 315 runs in a loss of 9 wickets. Captain of New Zealand team Tom Latham played an outstanding inning of 63 runs and kane williamson scored 44 runs, just missed his well deserved half century bu few runs short but reached New Zealand total to 300 plus runs. England bowling performance is amazing especially Matthew Potts bowl well picked 3 important wickets by giving 75 runs and Gus Atkinson bowl amazing spell picking three wickets and restarted New Zealand under 350 runs because they just one wicket need.
I can't say New Zealand's first day was very good in terms of Test matches. England are not a team that lags far behind in Test cricket. New Zealand's pitches are mostly batting friendly. 330-350 is not a big target, especially for England, on a batting friendly pitch. You have to perform better and put them under pressure if you want to win against big fishers like England. New Zealand have already crashed out of the series after losing the first two matches. I can see New Zealand getting a shameful whitewash against England.
It is not possible to say anything for sure after watching the first day's play. But New Zealand could not strengthen their position after the first two matches. After the first day, it seems that the match will go on till the fourth day. If that happens, we will be able to understand the possible outcome of the match on the third day or at the end of the second day. However, I will put England ahead in the last match. New Zealand will have to perform better to win. If the bowling can do it well, New Zealand can do something good.
