It depends on how good the strategy you have/use, if for example you have a good strategy to use in the right place then it can help increase your chances of getting closer to victory, but when you apply the strategy in the wrong place such as applying the strategy to a type of game that is purely based on luck then it will not change anything or will not affect the results at all, sometimes I often see gamblers especially some of my friends who apply strategies to types of games of chance such as casino games and it is only natural that the results are still disappointing.
On the other hand, strategy actually has an effect that can increase a person's hopes and beliefs, I'm sure anyone will agree with this, many of them become very enthusiastic waiting for the results, and when it turns out the results are not as expected then usually they will be emotional (I'm talking about gamblers who come with the intention of making a lot of money), and that emotion is what leads gamblers to a much worse situation, so instill in your mind that strategy is nothing more than a tool.
