I do believe that Manchester United should include one or two new players and give them a chance to see how they fit in the team. The performance of them is on the decline and we are seeing this in this season where they have won only 5 matches in premier league and lost 6 matches. They aren't in the top 10 teams currently on the points standing and it is obviously against their standard. Also keep in mind, just bringing new blood in the team won't have an immediate effect but in the long run, it will be beneficial for the team.
Not many managers can join a team and make use of the old players there to get success, they have to alter the team by selling some, loan others and bring in their own players to get better results. In January when the transfer window opens, we should be expecting Manchester United to be very busy in the transfer. Even though they don't bring in the players that we are expecting, atleast they have to let go of alot of flops that they have currently at the club that isn't contributing anything to the team but only receiving salary weekly and making Manchester United to be at a lost. The summer transfer should be when the buying of players should be active.
Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Harry Maguire are players who have the potential to be released by Manchester United in the upcoming transfer market, because they are over 30 years old. Several other players also have the potential to be included in Manchester United sales list, even Rashford and Onana are currently rumored to be released too. In my opinion, it is time for The Red Devils management to rejuvenate the squad, this step is also a form of support for Ruben Amorim. Actualy, a player like Antony also deserves to be released, the former Ajax player has failed to meet expectations, it can be seen that his market value has now dropped significantly.
I'm thinking Manchester United's priority is to release Rashford instead of those old players. I know they have to offload a lot of players, but as far as i know i see no demand came to their old players. They're lack of budget to rebuild their club and has to sold the players who have big demand.
The only best way is that selling rashford. I don't even see a reason to keep him much longer in the club. He's been consistently declining. It's good to sell him first, then think about how to offload the rest later.
However, there may be some fans disagree with me, but that's fine. Selling Rashford is the only way for Amorim to get money asap.
