Leverkusen winning Bundesliga was not surprise because they played very well all season. Their situation was different from Frankfurt. Frankfurt is focusing on winning one game at time not thinking too much about winning whole championship. This way Frankfurt might finish in top three which would be good achievement. But Dortmund is no longer competing for title and does not seem like strong team. Only two teams have small chance of winning this season but Bayern Munich is playing so well that it is hard for others to catch up. Bayern Munich is doing much better than other teams making it difficult for anyone to beat them.
They prepared everything for the title fight and that was different to Frankfurt and the situation was different then. Surprisingly Bayern Munich got another bad result when they faced Mainz and the defeat gave Frankfurt and Leverkusen another chance to compete for the title because the points gap with Bayern Munich was getting closer. There are still many games left so anything is possible and Frankfurt and Leverkusen are again opening the way to compete with Bayern Munich. Frankfurt have yet to play their 14th game and if they can win that game they will open up a three-point gap over Bayern Munich.
