Well it's actually true that fans are always left with scars on them after a player has left their club.  But most time it depends on the value of such player. Some player are worthy of thinking about while some are a jubilation for the fans depending on the impact they created on the club before leaving.  But to me I don't see so much important of losing a good player to another club, because football game is like Barack "soldier goes,  soldier comes but Barack remain the same" meaning that,  as best players are leaving also more important player are coming to replace the one that left.  And sometimes too it is easy to lose a player an and difficult to find a replacement.
