I’m just curious though, why are they only doing this now? The action isn’t about totally banning gambling but rather banning illegal gambling. If they had acted earlier, they could have already collected significant taxes. I guess that’s just how it is. With global regulatory pressure increasing, countries are being forced to improve their regulations to ensure that gambling operators have proper licenses before they can run their businesses.
I’m not very familiar with the politics in this country, but it’s probably a new administration trying to implement these income-generating rules. Yes, it’s all about income as they want to regulate every casino and shut down those that aren’t complying.

Banning gamblers from accessing unregistered casinos would definitely hurt those who still have balances in them. I’m not sure if using a VPN would work to bypass the restriction, but I’m certain there’s an attached risk in using a VPN, especially for unlicensed casinos. It could lead to even more complications.
