Yes, if the person got that kind of approach into gambling they will continue to chase for better strategy that may work with them the problem is when the person unable to control as it can lead them into addiction that kind of situation mostly happened, at first the strategy they are developing seems to be working but we all know that in gambling risk always behind it, if you are not wise and you think that your strategy will keep working, you'll see yourself getting addicted.

That's the problem with gambler who treat gambling as source of income, most of them loses a lot as they can't control their emotions, they keep adding more when they experienced defeats, instead of quitting they keep trying till they lose again all the new deposit that they sent.

I would say that what you are describing is more like a methodology of self-control and curbing your emotions than a strategy in gambling. And this skill is needed not only in gambling. If we talk purely about gambling, then there are hardly any strategies here. Because this activity is unpredictable in its nature. We can rather talk about some rules and rituals that the player himself invents for himself, based on experience and his preferences.

Agree to that, something that a person creates to avoid losing more than he can afford to lose while in the positive side, knowing when to quit when opportunities gives you that chance winning some decent amounts, it's more on how you deal with situation and how you keep that limitation that you create while experimenting with patterns and strategies based on your personal experienced from your past sessions.
