Sportsbetting is not the only game where you need skills and knowledge, Poker is also that type of game. In Poker and Sportsbetting, you need to have good analytical skills, good intuition and luck. Luck is very important because without luck you'll fail. The only game where you don't need a luck and you are totally dependent on your skills is Chess but sadly you can't play Chess with real money because your opponent can easily use a computer and in 99% cases, Chess will turn into Bot versus Bot game and will lose meaning.
I understand that. But since I do not know much about Poker, I am not going to say anything about it. I don't understand Poker well, so I don't play it, and there is no reason for me to take risks without even knowing how to play. But I know some sports like Cricket and Soccer where I mostly place bets. I know there are some boxing and tennis lovers as well who play regularly.
I believe everyone has their favorite sports, and a person could be an expert in predicting certain sports. For example, if you ask me to place bets on tennis, I won't be able to pick the correct team because I don't watch tennis and I don't know who is better. But, I can pick teams in cricket game!
In sports betting, is there even a thing like luck? I stand to be corrected, but I feel that you will only be more lucky when you are more experienced;
when you have more knowledge of the teams in the match;
when you know the availability of players;
When you know the whether conditions;
When you know their head to head;
When you remove greed;
Someone who doesn't apply the above precautions might continue losing while anyone who applies the above precautions will have high chances of winning. So, I don't see luck factor here. Maybe it exists in rare cases.
