That's the problem with gambler who treat gambling as source of income, most of them loses a lot as they can't control their emotions, they keep adding more when they experienced defeats, instead of quitting they keep trying till they lose again all the new deposit that they sent.

I would say that what you are describing is more like a methodology of self-control and curbing your emotions than a strategy in gambling. And this skill is needed not only in gambling. If we talk purely about gambling, then there are hardly any strategies here. Because this activity is unpredictable in its nature. We can rather talk about some rules and rituals that the player himself invents for himself, based on experience and his preferences.

Rules works to guide the player not to fail in gambling. And that could sound better when termed a strategy. Because it is what works for players. Other than that, no other method guarantees success than the self limitations and management that a gambler figures out to help enhance his gaming experience. When a new player with no experience ventures into the game they prefer to back up their predictions with winning strategies which they've found on blogs or books.

Though it doesn't help or have any effect due to the nature of casinos, but with further trials on reading methods such a player can find out that money management is the best. It's all a process, the trouble with most gamers who still do not learn is the lack of information and guidance before and while gambling.
