From the 2020/21 season that Manchester City reached the UEFA Champions League final that they narrowly lost to Chelsea to 2021/22 that they were eliminated by Real Real Madrid in the semi finals and to 2022/23 they finally won the European Cup for the first time in the history of the club and finally last season they were ousted by Real Madrid in the quarter finals, never had Manchester City been as poor as they've been this season.
I have no doubt that they'll make it out of the group stages of the competition but I don't think Pep Guardiola's men are a strong contender for the European title this season.
I wouldn’t be so confident about Manchester City. What are the odds that a team who’s been performing poorly this season and have just managed a win and two draws in 11 matches in all competition can be able to make it through the group stage of the Champions League? If Manchester City continues in this way, I don’t think they will finish in a Champions League spot for next season let alone making it to the next round of the competition.
Manchester City's performance this season is very bad in all competitions, they have wasted many opportunities in the 11 matches that have been played. Manchester City's performance continues to decline on the front lines, making them weak in matches even though the opponents are not up to par.
I doubt Manchester City will qualify next year in the League Champions because it looks very difficult for City to win the match, what do friends think of City's future in the Champions League?
