it is very hard or rare to see people gamble without the mindset of wanting to win and this mindset is what actually leads some people into problem, become an addict or gamble more often. The mindset of wanting to win though sometimes it favors some gamblers while sometimes it does not. setting target is good but we should also try as much as possible to set a fund limit that is the amount of money to use to gamble and we should not go beyond it if it does not favors perhaps we should take break or hold on for some time before starting again i believe it will reduce  or minimize loss.
Most people who gamble will think about how much money they can win. But they don't think that they can not win easily from gambling instead will lose their money. If they can not control themselves, their losses will be big. That is apply to those who want to try all of their strategies and it is better they think about how much money they can use to test their strategies. If there is no control of that, they will see the big loss while they don't have a big chance to win. They must realize that gambling is not for making money but only for have fun. So when they create many strategies, they must allocate some enough money that will not break their limit.
It may be that the player will try one strategy after another and each one requires time and money to go a long way and make sure that the strategy is working or not. With a high degree of probability, I think that almost all strategies will not work, if not all of them. Perhaps, on some, the player will get a win streak in which he will win and not understand it, but only confirm in his head that he has finally found a working way to earn money. But after a while, all his hopes will be destroyed. I want to say that players sometimes need to be smarter and not deceive themselves.
