It's not about deciding which tournament Manchester City wants to focus on because in both leagues Manchester City continues to get poor results, It is indeed difficult for a club whose performance is declining to force itself to focus on either the Domestic League or the Champions League, but the obstacle is that in both of these championships Manchester City cannot do anything, it's not about whether or not they are able to enter the Champions League playoffs this season, because in terms of play Manchester City has really declined this year and in addition not only Manchester City to enter the Champions League playoffs, but Real Madrid also has to face Atalanta if they want the Champions League playoffs which are known to have strength in Serie A this season, Atalanta's strength in Serie A is not in doubt and they are at the peak of their game this season.
I can't agree more. They are a huge club and even won treble just 1.5 seasons ago, they should be able to both win games at premier league, while also staying in top 24 at the same time as well. Seeing them not do that well, doesn't make sense to me at all, it just doesn't feel that much right. I believe we need to do much better and I think we need to consider this to be a normal situation to be in as well.
I believe we are talking about a professional enough and good enough team that can do both at the same time. I understand why things may look not that great to some people, but to me it doesn't look that bad, I think it could be done a lot better and they could focus on both competitions at the same time, they should be able to at least.
