Him winning the award after much speculations shows that there is still some level of credibility with the awards, and that will motivate other players to work hard for it knowing that there is an equal opportunity to be recognized for the award. Lookman is still doing very well this season, I will hope that he can retain the title again as the best player in Africa for a second time. That will be a strong silencing to the critics and other people who may think he is not worth the award.
