This is really a welcome development. This is just a confirmation of what I have already knew was bound to happen. With his performance and achievements last season, no other African players came close to him. I'm really happy that Ademola LookMan efforts last season has really been appreciated and recognised at last. Scoring that hat trick in the Europa League final was what cemented his position as CAF best player of the year. Now he will be grateful for choosing Nigeria over England, because if he had chosed England over Nigeria, he wouldn't have gotten such a recognition over there, as he has now achieved with CAF.
