Roger Ver was an early investor in Bitcoin, Bitcoin-related startups and an early promoter of Bitcoin, and because of his endeavours towards bitcoin he was also known as "Bitcoin Jesus". He now primarily promotes Bitcoin Cash.
He was doing well at a point in time,but releasing such information to the public,I don't think that's a good approach to development. He allegedly spoke against the US government and tried to cover his guilt by writing a book on /r/btc so it could be in his name.
I don't even see the use of his soul called book.And currently now he is being charged with mail fraud, tax evasion and filing false tax returns.He is liable to face 30 years imprisonment if being found guilty on all counts.He also has past events such as in 2002 and 2003 where he spent 10 months in prison for  selling explosives on eBay which had excessive gunpowder without a license, as well as illegally storing and mailing them.
