Wow, no response. I guess this is another reason why people could argue crypto will never make it as money.
I have an issue with remittances ( the receive address is not valid ) and there's no technical support or anyone to
call even many days after posting my question on the forum. Will a 65 year old go through all that and figure out
the solution himself ? I don't think so... More likely, they will STILL use something like Western Union or World Remit, where
you pay a small fee, and get your shit sorted within hours. "Set and forget" type of approach. Yes, it might not be decentralized,
or techie, or blockchain based, but damn, it works and does what people want.
Tech support or phone support ( or even email support ) is something that is very important to people, with crypto you're
on your own if something goes wrong, that's it, you're screwed.
And by the way, the nethwork ethereum fee for my remittance would have costed me 15 USD, as I said. 15 USD! for a little test transaction
to see if it works! World remit charges me a $3 USD fee for the whole process and I know it will work. So where is the advantage of crypto?
