I have hard time figuring out name of this vege in English. In our local language (Urdu) it's called Kachalu and it belongs to family of Potato, both not recommended for people with Diabetes. Google AI says it's English name is Taro. Any English man can confirm that please?
Go to Wikipedia and see what the latin name is and then go to English Wikipedia and search for that name.
Quoting myself, the name in latin is Colocasia esculenta and the Swedish name is Taro and that is also the English name.
