As a Nigerian am proud to see that the CAF men's player of the year is moving from one Nigerian (Victor Osimhen) to another Nigerian, Ademola Lookman is one of such exceptional winger whose  creative impact helped made Nigeria to get to the last African Cup of Nations although Ivory Coast managed to win in that final game with a late goal. Congratulations to him for a well deserved achievement.
Ademola Lookman deserves all the praises he get and he deserves more because his performance last season was a top notch performance, he outperformed all the African players, he scored a record braking goals in good moments where the goals were needed; the three goals he scored against Leverkusen that hasn’t lost any game at that moment was a historic goals and moment for the team, he helped Atalanta win title after several years of been trophyless and he keep up his performance this season because with his help, his team are now among the top competitors for the Seria A this season.

This is a well deserved award and this isn't because Ademola Lookman is a Nigerian but based on his individual performances internationally and in club side, A player loved by many fans and supportters because of his brilliant style of play, Making it the sixth Nigerian Super Eagle player to have won this award.

I missed watching this event, heard that some Moroccans left immediately after they announced Ademola Lookman the African best player, after they thought it would have been given their man , who watched the event and how truthful is this?
This has nothing to do with Lookman Ademola 's nationality, it a well deserved award for the Nigerian player who proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he is one the best player in the world and has some laurels to substantiate this claims, for example he won the Europa league with his club Atalanta beating Bayern Leverkusen who happen to be one of the best side in Europe last season and he also scored a hat-trick in that match and ever since he has been very proactive for his club by helping them win matches and scoring several goals, I think he deserves the award.
