Bayarn Munich were unbeaten in the Bundesliga until the 13th match and thought that they might do better this season than last season but they could not maintain their consistent performance till the 14th match. They dropped points in 14th match against Mainz and losing this match is not good for them as another team in the league is not far behind them. If Bayern Munich perform like this in their next match, if Leverkusen get full points in their next match, they will be back level with Bayern Munich on points. I can partly blame the absence of Harry Kane as the reason for Bayarn Munich's defeat against Mainz because if this striker was there he would have scored and if he had scored the team would have won.
Although the defeat against Mainz last week was quite surprising, I don't think this is a big deal because after all, instead of lamenting the defeat it would be better to focus on what is lacking from Bayern's current performance. They know many opportunities were wasted against Mainz including attacking and finishing that were not well controlled so answering Leipzig there must be more improvement from Kompany so that this does not happen again.
Leipzig is one of the opponents that is quite strong because for the last few seasons Leipzig has always been transformed into a club that is indeed troublesome especially from h2h their last 5 matches Leipzig is actually still superior with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss so this could be troublesome for Bayern and there could be some situations that Bayern cannot control if they are too focused on previous defeats and do not see Leipzig as an opponent.
