Truly, the internet is the main reason that gambling the widespread gambling in this era. It's just a click away and you can gamble already as long as you have either digital cash, stablecoins, or cryptocurrencies that are allowed to be deposited. Although it's not a good sight from traditional beliefs, many people in different religions do not even see it that way anymore.
I think the internet and social media being a norm has affected us so much that we do everything now using it. Teenagers mostly cannot even take their eyes off their smartphones or their computers. They always want to be online and there's always a possibility that they will bump into gambling which we as parents should be wary about.

We cannot blame the Internet for the growing number of young people becoming addicted to gambling or for making gambling more accessible. Instead, why don't we ask ourselves why many people also access the Internet but they don't become addicted to gambling? Even many people become rich thanks to what the Internet brings but not us?

Why are many parents successful in educating their children but our children fall into online addiction and gambling addiction? It is clear that we have failed to educate our children and now we blame the Internet or anyone else for our negligence.

If we don't control our greed, we think we can get rich by gambling, whether online or offline, we will become addicted to gambling. Or if we cannot educate our children, sooner or later they will become spoiled even without the Internet.

In my country, before the Internet became popular, online addiction and gambling addiction were not common, but theft and drug addiction were not uncommon among children, and all of this was due to our improper way of educating our children.
