I have always spoken against strategy because it is not a pre-requisite or an important tool when it comes to winning in gambling, especially if what we are talking about is luck based games like slot and casino games..
But I love the context you are taking this from and to, coming up wit strategies to playing such games can be fun indeed, it adds some kind of life to the game, and this is actually good as long as the gambler does not start counting on his or her strategy to help him make better winnings.

I am not doubting the efficacy of strategies in sport betting games, even though I still would say that one strategy in this area also won't change the players styles and tactics on the playing field, but all the same, if it's still all what gamblers do to make their gambling experience more exciting and fun, then it's absolutely good.

Yes, it is true that strategies are not bad, neither are they the way out and the answer to win, it's just that these things are the requirements for us to be able to establish everything to put that touch of fun, of pleasure, when you play but play without strategy you can enjoy it if, with the strategy you put a good ingredient, that of having more hope and that is something that applies in every context of the game, like poker, blackjack, everything is good, of course if you apply strategies + luck then it is not bad, it is good, the idea is to look for good luck with some knowledge.
