Real Madrid has always been the best team with their winning mentality. With their current position in the standings I think it is difficult for them to be in the top 8 but they have a great chance to qualify through the playoffs. Although Liverpool have been impressive with 6 wins but I still favor Real Madrid to be the champion. Sorry I don't mean to offend Liverpool but Real Madrid have the ability to overcome any difficulties. After the defeat to Barcelona in El Classico everyone thought Madrid would lose their title this season. But now they are only 1 point away from Atletico and Barcelona but they still have one game left.
Honestly Real Madrid always keep their mentality so strong every season in the champions league, but this season has been a tough season for them: imagine Real Madrid that are the one hold the champions league table through out of the season are not able to do well this season, but I think is because of the most of their players that won’t injury right from the beginning of the season that’s why they left behind this season.
And as it stand now, that Liverpool have sit up on the top of table with high points, it will very hard for Real Madrid to get close to them, because currently now Madrid are still managing the 20th place in the position; and that’s why I said I don’t have hope for them
