many gamblers don't give much thought to the fact that their inability to stop gambling is the beginning of a gambling addiction. usually gamblers who have entered this stage do not realize that they are addicted to gambling, maybe they think that it is just them chasing a regular loss and understand it, but this can be bad if it continues because not only can it cause severe addiction, but it will also cause financial problems. a gambler must understand their limits and when to stop. making excuses to chase a loss is not responsible gambling.
