Yes maybe, but I have enough pessimistic that Barcelona can easy to handle the match because their performance is not enough to hold the position standing. Yamal, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Marc Bernal got injured, barcelona in lame condition while Atletico in on fire win 11 match on the row. That possible draws can occur happen, but we must see 1st the squad as starter, barcelona has plenty of substitutes for lame position, that possibille the hole being resolved when Ferran Torres or Fermin Lopez may play well, And, definitely if draw happen, Real Madrid will increase the standing position.

The match will be a very crucial match for both teams, because whoever wins later will have the right to be at the top of the La Liga standings, Barcelona in poor consistency in recent matches after several of their players were injured, although their have several substitutes to replace those injured, but still the quality of the reserve players they have is not equivalent to the injured main players, I think Hansi Flick task to win the match will be very difficult, because facing Atletico Madrid who are in extraordinary form with 11 consecutive wins, is not an easy thing with the team condition being lame at this time.

Statistics of both teams this season.

  • Barcelona have always won in the last 5 matches vs Atletico in La Liga.
  • Barcelona have kept a clean sheet in their last 4 matches vs Atletico in La Liga.
  • Barcelona have won 12 and lost 4 in La Liga this season (W12 D2 L4, goals 50-20).
  • Atletico has won 11 and lost just 1 in La Liga this season (W11 D5 L1, goals 31-11).
  • Atletico only defeat in La Liga 2024/2025 so far was 0-1 from Real Betis in week 11
  • Atletico have always won in the last 11 matches in all competitions (6 of them in La Liga)
